Spearhead Games' Tiny Brains

A game that Gamereactor will take a closer look at during PAX East in Boston next week is Spearhead Games {Tiny Brains}. Founded by veteran developers with industry veterans Simon Darveau (design director on {Assassin's Creed III}), Malik Boukhira, (game designer on {Assassin's Creed II} and {Dead Space 3}), and Atul Mehra (former development director on the {Army of Two} franchise).

So what then is {Tiny Brains}? Well, it's described as an action-puzzler with co-op for up to four players starring super-powered lab animals who seek revenge on a mad scientist.

"Spearhead is a team of passionate and experienced creators," said Simon Darveau. "With {Tiny Brains}, our ambition is to create a super fun and truly cooperative game. So far we are very excited with the results!"

{Tiny Brains} is targeted for release later this year on unspecified digital platforms. We suspect they're eyeing Steam, PSN, XBLA for it - but for now platforms are "to be determined".
