theHunter: Primal exits Early Access

Full launch as Quetzalcoatlus takes to the skies. Eye-tracking tech utilised.

Expansive Worlds and parent Avalanche Studios have announced the full launch of {theHunter: Primal} on Steam after a few months of Early Access. Notably the full launch introduces the Quetzalcoatlus - a flying predator that will no doubt cause would be hunters some concern.

"It's been a great few months, listening to our newly founded community and shaping Primal into the game they want to play" said Expansive Worlds CEO Pim Holfve. "Together with them, we have created an intense and highly unique experience. But we're just getting started. If the initial success is anything to go by, I look forward to keep evolving {theHunter: Primal} for years to come."

The Cretaceous world created by Expansive Worlds for this spin-off on the popular hunting simulator {The Hunter} measures 9.3 square miles (24 square kilometers). The full release also features dynamic weather as well as finalised PvP and Team Modes.

Like {Assassin's Creed: Rogue} on PC {theHunter: Primal} uses the new tech from Tobii Tech and Steel Series called Infinite Screen and tracks the player's eye movement in order to move the camera.
