Xcom multiplayer gameplay

There are plenty of people keeping a keen eye on {Xcom: Enemy Unknown}, the series reboot by Firaxis (and we're among them).

The original game is much loved by fans, and perhaps the only thing that prevented a virtual riot after its announcement (remember how well the other {Xcom} went down), was the fact that it's being developed by Civilization creators Firaxis.

In this gameplay trailer we get to see a full game of competitive PvP multiplayer, with lead designer Jake Soloman taking on a fan of the original called Jeff. If you've got your eye on this one, then it's definitely worth a look, because there is plenty of action to savour, and new units to check out. The game's due to be released next month.
