Xbox Game Bar updates include Spotify integration

While the reveal of the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition took the spotlight during the Inside Xbox stream last night, we also got news on Game Bar for Windows 10 as well, as several new features are being tested for PC users to try out.

With PC Gaming Idea Drive gathering feedback since earlier this year, this has inspired some of the features revealed, with Insiders in the Window Gaming flight able to get access to them this week.

Spotify integration is a big part of this, including a Spotify widget in the game bar with play, pause, and skip buttons. You'll still need the Spotify app installed for Windows, but after that you can listen to all your tunes, and change the volume using the audio widget in Game Bar.

In terms of screenshots, you can capture and share these to Twitter without leaving the game, but this new update lets you "turn your captured screenshots into memes" so you can be down with the kids. This means you're able to edit screenshots and videos with overlay text before sending them onto Twitter.

There's a new Xbox Social widget as well to show you what your friends are playing, messages, voice chat, and Mixer streams, also working with Xbox One and mobile apps.

There's also customisable UI with this update too, letting you choose which widgets you see, where you want them, and giving you the ability to pin them.
