Victory Command hits Steam Early Access
Military-themed MOBA out now on PC.
Petroglyph and PlayGrid Games just released their new military-themed MOBA on Steam Early Access. Military Command mixes RTS and MOBA features, with 5v5 teams squaring off against each other, with each player controlling small military squads in skirmishes that moves "beyond the standard three-lane MOBA formula" by putting players in more open maps.
There's to be fifteen playable companies each with different strengths and weaknesses that can be tweaked by changing up units, and they'll be playing on a selection of maps (that'll feature "line-of-sight, brush, heavy cover, vantage points, infantry-only paths, water features").
The game will eventually be free-to-play, though for the time being there are several paid-for packages on Early Access that will grant you access. There's also a limited time offer that lets players download the base game and three companies for free.
