Celebrity introducing Naughty Dog's Uncharted 3's trailer at Spike TV's VGAs? Elisa Dushku (just in case you were keeping a tally of the celeb appearances).

The title also got a release date: 11/1/11, putting it eye-to-eye with the new Elder Scrolls title, which was also announced tonight and releases on the same month. The teaser trailer showed franchise hero Nathan Drake walking in the desert before cutting to gameplay, although Naughty Dog did tweet during the show to say everything we'd see was in-game:

"Yes, UNCHARTED3 trailer was all from in-engine + actual gameplay. 11-1-11!!"

The developer failed to speculate on going toe-to-toe with Bethesda come next year's release date.
