Ubisoft outlines post-launch plans for Far Cry 5

New trailer updates us on live events, DLC content and Arcade mode.

{Far Cry 5} including its season pass content may be one of the most content heavy packages to be seen in video game history and today Ubisoft gave us some additional information on what to expect post-launch from {Far Cry 5} and associated modes, DLC and full game (you get {Far Cry 3: Classic Edition} with the season pass).

From the developers of the cult-classic {Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon} comes three pieces of standalone DLC experiences, Hours of Darkness, where you battle the Viet Cong, Dead Living Zombies where you fight off waves of zombies under the guidance of a b-movie director (Guy Marvel), and finally Lost on Mars, which sounds a bit like Starship Troopers to us as you'll battle Martian arachnids.

Dead Living Zombies treads familiar territory as you'll fight off waves of undead enemies.

Lost on Mars looks to pit humans against arachnids on the red planet.

Hours of Darkness brings Far Cry to Vietnam a setting that certainly feels like a great fit for the franchise.

No timeline for when these DLC episodes will drop has been announced.

Ubisoft did, however, say that there will be live events, challenges that will let you earn in-game rewards (skins, weapons, etc). These are promised for every Tuesday during April, while there will be something called Arcade Friday Nights every Friday during April.
