Twisted Metal next year

The official Playstation Blog has announced that Eat Sleep Play's {Twisted Metal} has been hit with a delay and won't be out in October of this year as previously thought. David Jaffe broke the news in the blog post:

"We're not shipping {Twisted Metal} October 4th, 2011. We're going to miss our date. We're going to be late."

Eat Sleep Play are happy to premiere a new level "Thrills & Spills Amusement Park" at PAX Prime and Gamescom, but perhaps that's little comfort if you were hoping to play {Twisted Metal} this fall.

{Twisted Metal} is now slotted in for release early next year.
