Titanfall becomes 2014's biggest release
Debuts at number one in the UK charts ahead of Dark Souls II. Xbox One sales almost double.
It's a great week for EA and Microsoft in the UK charts as {Titanfall} debuts at number one to become the biggest release of 2014 so far (in fact it doubled the number that {FIFA 14} had set as the best one week sales of 2014). The {Titanfall} Xbox One bundle accounted for 70 percent of Xbox One sales during the week as Xbox One sales almost doubled (+96%) thanks to the release of Respawn's highly anticipated shooter. In second place was From Software's {Dark Souls II}, that sold 20% more than its predecessor in its first week and landed ahead of Ubisoft {South Park: The Stick of Truth} in third.
This week also marks the first time since release that {FIFA 14} is out of the top 5 at number 6. The disappointing {Yoshi's New Island} came in at number 12.
