The Walking Dead collection announced
Arriving with visual upgrades in December.
It's been a little over three months since Telltale Games announced that the next season of their The Walking Dead series would be the last, and we all know what usually comes at the end of a series: a collection.
The studio has announced that what's simply called {The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection} will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 5. This collection will include the three previous seasons, 400 Days, and Michonne, but that's not all, as everything except A New Frontier will be visually upgraded to make the collection a more coherent experience. You can get a taste of the enhancements in the trailer and images at the bottom of this piece.
Those of you who long for the final season have also received some interesting news today, as Garry Whitta (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Book of Eli, and who helped on the first season of the series) will be a story consultant on the final season. Whitta has this to say about his return:
"Collaborating with Telltale on the first season of Clementine's journey through the world of The Walking Dead was one of the highlights of my career, so reuniting with them to now bring her story to a close with this final season feels like a homecoming. Clementine has become not just one of the most compelling characters in the Walking Dead pantheon but one of the great video game characters of all time. I hope we're able to do justice to her and to her millions of fans. This one feels special."
Will you buy the collection? And what do you think of Whitta's return?
