The Persistence announced for PSVR
This is a new original game from Firesprite Studios.
The young Firesprite Studios has only been around since 2013, and the Liverpool-based studio recently unveiled Sony-exclusive game The Persistence, a first-person survival horror game coming to the PlayStation VR, although we don't know when.
The game will take place in 2521, in a futuristic spaceship where an experiment has caused some of the crew members to mutate and become monsters, and the player will have to explore the ship to make sure it's working again. The Persistence will include the concept of "die and retry" too, as the player will embody a new character from the spaceship each time he dies. A friend can also connect to the game as well, and can either help or snare the first player.
The game already has a trailer, which you can watch below. Does this look different from other VR horror experiences out there?
