Techland: 'Hellraid is still there'

A few days ago, we reported that Techland is currently at work on two AAA games, where one is probably Dying Light 2, while the other one - as confirmed by the Polish studio's CEO, Paweł Marchewka - is a new fantasy-RPG open-world game, but at the moment we don't know other details. In a recent interview, Marchewka had the opportunity to talk about {Hellraid}, a project that we haven't heard about from a lot of time, but that apparently hasn't been cancelled outright. As confirmed by Marchewka, the game is only on standby because Techland has preferred to give priority to these two new projects, but he reassured that {Hellraid} will be back, sooner or later:

"{Hellraid} is still there. It is sitting on the shelf. We just had this great idea that we wanted to explore before. We're not sure how we handle it but we are thinking about {Hellraid}, how to continue with that game."

{Hellraid} was expected last year, but after shifting focus to new-gen platforms, the studio put the project on hold while focusing solely on {Dying Light} and its expansion (presumably they also started work on these two AAA projects).
