We have a teaser trailer to keep us entertained till then.
Sigtrap Games has announced that Sublevel Zero is being expanded on PC, Mac, and Linux to Sublevel Zero Redux free of charge on July 13, and this expansion will also include VR support for both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
Sublevel Zero Redux promises to add "hours more addictive gameplay," including a remastered campaign, new enemies, unlocks, rooms, and weapons.
Lead artist Gary Lloyd says: "We're bringing all the new content, features and extras from the console version back to PC, Mac and Linux, absolutely free, to say thank you to all our dedicated fans. And we're really excited to be releasing VR support."
Lead programmer Dr Luke Thompson adds: "We created the first outline of Sublevel Zero at a game jam, as a love letter to games we grew up with like Descent and Forsaken. Since then an amazing community has formed around the game, and we're so pleased to be able to bring back the console content for free as a thank you to the gamers who have supported us all the way."
A complete list of new content is coming on July 13, but for now we'll have to make do with a short teaser trailer down below. Is this enough to make you jump back into the game?
