Steam hits 12 million concurrent users

The combination of winter sale and holidays made for a new record.

Valve has managed to hit another huge milestone in terms of the amount of concurrent users on Steam. According to Steam's Player Statistics Database, the amount of concurrent users online hit 12,330,445 users on Sunday evening, which completely blitzes the previous record of 10 million concurrent users, which was reached back in June.
