S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 isn't dead

Development continues.

With news this December that GSC Game World were closing up shop and cancelling {S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2} fans have been understandably upset. A glimmer of hope was lit by the official Facebook page today with the following status update:

"The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays."

No word on what exactly this means and if development continues with a new company, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans should celebrate regardless.
