Sony shows off loading differences between PS4 and PS5
It takes a lot less time to load into the world and to load the world around you, with Spider-Man used as the example here.
Rumours and speculation about the next PlayStation hardware have been floating around for a while now, but recently the Wall Street Journal's Takashi Mochizuki shared details from a presentation Sony held regarding the next-generation, including a brief video showing how quickly the world of Spider-Man loads on this console compared to the PS4 Pro, as well as far shorter loading times.
Sony's CEO Kenichiro Yoshida also said that Sony Interactive Entertainment will keep working on relationships with outside game developers too, according to Mochizuki.
The PS5 does indeed sound very exciting, but last month we found out that the console won't release until after March 2020. That said, there's still a lot to be excited about, as Square Enix Luminous is working on a title for this platform.
In other Sony news, PlayStation Productions has just been revealed as well, helping to bring Sony's top games to life in the world of film and TV.
