SOE take on Planetside 2 cheaters

"Goodbye, you scumbag. Find a new hobby or get good at the game."

The words are Sony Online Entertainment's CEO John Smedley, and a perfect illustration of the feelings SOE has towards cheaters in the recently launched {Planetside 2}. Over Twitter Smedley went on to call out a particular cheater and threaten him in what we presume is a humorous tone:

"We don't need to cross reference anything. Use it.. we'll find you. we'll find your family. we'll hunt you down."

"It" refers to aimbots, a cheat that is apparently used a lot by cheaters in {Planetside 2}.

"Those of you using aimbots are being hunted down and banned. Remember to use /report. People are being banned left and right."

The fight against cheaters is a marathon and not a sprint, so let's hope SOE are up for it.
