SOE reveal Planetside 2

Sony Online Entertainment are holding their annual Fan Faire in Las Vegas right now, and to celebrate that they revealed this trailer for {Planetside Next}/Planetside 2. We've known about the game for quite some time, but this is the first time we actually get to see anything from it. Fans of the old {Planetside} got reasons to celebrate, in other words.

Planetside Next will offer up a large, persistent world to fight over - similar to the old game. No word on release date or business model yet, but MMO-players that have been aching for a PvP game that actually features three factions instead of two will be happy to hear that Planetside 2 will feature the Terran Republic, New Conglomerate and Vanu Sovereignty.
