Sniper Elite 4 announced

Rebellion has announced that {Sniper Elite 4}, the fourth instalment of their long-lived stealth sniper series, will land on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2016.

When the game does land it'll include maps "many times the size" of the ones we were sneaking through in Sniper Elite 3, with the studio planning to include a solo campaign, co-op, and PvP multiplayer.

Set immediately after the events of its predecessor, {Sniper Elite 4} is set during the WWII, in Italy during 1943. This time Karl Fairburne will join the Italian Resistance movement trying to free the country from Fascism, and to defeat a terrifying new threat that could nip in the bud the counter-offensive of the Allies in Europe.

From coastal and sunny towns of the Mediterranean Sea, the mega-structures of the Nazis, the scary forest, to the monasteries on the mountains inspired to Monte Cassino, {Sniper Elite 4} will allow the players to relive an important page of Italian and worldwide history with the typical stealth/action touch from Sniper Elite series, for the first time exclusively on new-gen consoles, and PC.
