Shadow Tactics is a tactical stealth game set in feudal Japan from Mimimi Productions, and we met up with creative director Dominik Abé to learn more about the concept, its inspirations, and the rather unique and interesting characters you'll command.
"Those games [tactical stealth strategy games of the late 90s, early 00s] kind of got lost and I really liked them, because they're all about slow planning but very fast and precise execution," says Abé. "And that's a balance of gameplay that I really like, so I wanted to make a game like that and for stealth I think ninjas are the best choice."
{Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun} is scheduled to release late this year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but it remains to be seen if the releases will be simultaneous or if the PC version comes first.
