Saint Row might have started out as an attempt to make a serious copy of {Grand Theft Auto}, but quickly learned that trying to beat Rockstar at their own game is easier said than done. Instead, Volition opted for more humour and over the top violence - which is very much the case in {Saints Row: The Third} as well.
