Rock Band Blitz dated

{Rock Band Blitz}, the repackaged and plastic guitar-free {Rock Band} experience, has been given a release date of August 28 (PSN) and August 29 (XBLA).

The new game offers 20 songs, but you can import songs from previous {Rock Band} titles including DLC from {Rock Band 3} as well, if you crave a more robust tracklist.

The game will cost 1200 points on XBLA, and $14.99 on PSN (about £10). And for those who thought Rock (Band) was dead, think again!
