Reflections joins The Division effort
Newcastle studio helps out with all aspects of the project.
Develop reports that Newcastle based Ubisoft Reflections are working on {The Division} collaborating with Massive Entertainment on the project.
"We're working on all of the game's systems: main characters, enemies, RPG pillars, building Manhattan, online components, and so on," managing director Pauline Jacquey told Develop.
"It gives us a very broad and wide input on the game, but it's not as limited as the naval battles on {Assassin's Creed III}."
About 40 percent of the Reflections team is focused on {The Division}, and according to Jacquey the collaboration came as a result of Massive's and Reflections' mutual desire to work together, and not as a result of any development issues.
Bringing in more resources towards the development of {The Division} may put it back on track for a 2014 release, even our sources tell us it's unlikely.
