Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel

The much-awaited and highly-anticipated Rockstar sequel Red Dead Redemption 2 got its story trailer a few days ago, and now we know that the game will a prequel to the original game, released back in 2010.

The main protagonist, Arthur Morgan, becomes acquainted with the first game's villain Dutch van der Linde, and Red Dead Redemption 2 shows the formation of his gang. Dutch himself is younger than you might remember, and this is a clear sign that Red Dead Redemption 2 is actually a prequel and not a sequel.
