Rabbids Coding has been unleashed
A release trailer gives you a sense of how the game can teach you to code, all with the help of Rabbids.
You remember the Rabbids, right? They're the nonsensical creatures who've even teamed up with Mario and friends, and now they're back with Rabbids Coding, a game that's just been released to help teach the basics of coding.
The game can be downloaded for free on Uplay for Windows PC, and this all revolves around the Rabbids on a spaceship. The player needs to clean things up by programming commands, and you slowly learn more about coding, including algorithmic logic.
Ubisoft Montreal developed this project, aimed to make the art of coding accessible and fun to newcomers. Ages seven and up can get involved, and there are 32 levels teaching concepts ranging from sequential programming to loops and conditions, attempting to make code as short and efficient as possible.
"Ubisoft is committed to preparing the next generation of video game developers, and what better way to start teaching them the basics of coding than with a fun and interactive learning experience," said Olivier Palmieri, Game Director. "We strongly believe that video games can play an important role in learning new technical skills, and we're looking forward to sharing Rabbids Coding as a teaching tool for all ages."
