Polymega is "a retro-focused modern console"
Capable of playing old cartridges and CD-ROMs.
Polymega is a console that's set to give all the nostalgia in one burst by allowing you to play old cartridges and other games all in one place, and we were joined by Polymega's CEO and co-founder Bryan Bernal, where we asked him to explain to us exactly what it is.
"The Polymega is a new system that's being developed," Bernal started. "It is a retro-focused modern console. It's compatible with all of your old retro game cartridges as well as CD-ROMs, and it upscales everything to 1080p HD. It allows you to digitally add to your collection, so you can make a backup of your games to your collection. You can also play that game directly off of the cartridge or the CD, and it does this very nice, in modern ways so that you can have that in your living room and keep it all organised without having to resort to having wires everywhere."
For more on the console and to see it in action, take a look at our interview below, as well as the Polymega website. Is this something that interests your retro brain?
