Overwatch is Blizzard's biggest beta ever
Almost 10 million players tried Blizzard's first shooter.
{Overwatch} is attracting a lot of attention. Something that's underlined by the numbers that Blizzard released in relation to the beta version of the game. According to the studio, more than 9.7 million players have tried the beta version of the game across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This makes it the biggest beta ever for a Blizzard game. It should however be noted that this is also the first Blizzard game to feature a beta version running simultaneously on three platforms.
Altogether, these 9.7 million players played more than 81 million hours and more than 37 million games. The full version of the {Overwatch} arrives May 24th, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, with a cast of 21 heroes. Our own GRTV colleagues were among the 9.7 million and recorded a two-hour session of the beta, which you can watch below.
