New Thor trailer thunders in
tie-in hits simultaneously with movie
Sega has dropped a new trailer for its upcoming adaptation of the Thor movie, which is developed by Liquid Entertainment.
Thor is looking very smitey as he uses his enchanted hammer Mjolnir to beat the seven hells out of a league of fantastical monsters and demons.
It's typical button-mashing stuff that you've seen for movie tie-ins before, but for Marvel fans, two things to note.
1) The game's set on Asgard rather than earth, so set before the events of the film.
2) There's a symbol that appears in the trailer, associated with whatever great evil Thor has unwittingly unleashed after being tricked by his brother Loki. That symbol is one that has featured prominently in the advertising campaign for Marvel's upcoming company crossover entitled 'Fear Itself' - you might be able to get a few clues to that crossover by picking up the game come its release on April 29.
