New perspective in Syndicate?

We mentioned that EA once again copyrighted the name "Syndicate" the other day, and now rumors are saying that the new version of {Syndicate} (rumored to be in development at Starbreeze) will be much more action oriented than the original. In fact, there are rumors that the game is going to be a first person shooter.

Are EA and Starbreeze trying to pull a {Xcom} on us? We'll have to wait and see, hopefully it won't be long until we get an official reveal.
