Need for Speed: Shift 2 announced

EA's first quarter results have revealed that {Crysis 2} has slipped from its original release window of holiday season 2010 to the first quarter of 2011. The statement also flavourlessly confirms the existence of {Need for Speed: Shift 2}, set for release in March 2011. As it's more of a business document, the reveal wasn't accompanied by the usual fanfare, glitter and screenshots.

GameSpot report that the cause of the {Crysis 2} delay, according to EA's John Schappert, was for a "better window and polishing". Polishing, polishing, always with the polishing.
