Monolith on The Hobbit?

As most of you probably know there is a little film called The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey that is due to hit theatres on December 12, and it should come as no surprise that a game based on said money is in the works.

According to the trust worthy Superannuation it is {F.E.A.R.} developers Monolith Productions, who are working on the game:

"As to what Monolith/Warner Bros. Games Seattle is up to now - pretty sure it is a little fantasy action RPG-lite called The Hobbit: Part One," Superannutation tweets.

There once was a rather awful game called The Hobbit (2003). Hopefully this one will be better.
