Mirror's Edge 2 dated for release in early 2016

Electronic Arts has confirmed that the anticipated sequel/reboot of {Mirror's Edge} is now expected to release in early 2016. The release schedule was shown in the company's Q4 Financial Year 2015 Results (that you can see for yourselves here). There was, however, a caveat: "All launch dates are subject to change," says the document.
{Mirror's Edge 2} is currently in development over at DICE, with the studio also working on the new {Star Wars: Battlefront}. With that game set to release this autumn, it does seem unlikely that the company can finish two major titles in such a short period of time. We should get more information about both games this June during E3.
