Minecraft gets a Blu-Ray edition on PS3

Not exclusively digital from May 14.

Mojang have announced on the official PlayStation blog that {Minecraft} will get a PS3 disc release on May 14.

Seeing how successful the disc-version of the Xbox 360 Edition has been (basically a constant in the British video game top 10 for more than a year) it's really no wonder why this move is being made.

There was also a "no news" update on the PS4 and PS Vita versions: "In other PlayStation-related news, 4J are working on bringing {Minecraft} to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Sorry for the delay but making {Minecraft} happen is serious business."
