Microtransactions in Destiny?

We're probably going to see microtransaction becoming a major part of the AAA landscape moving forward and it seems Activision and Bungie are at least looking in to these possibilities for the upcoming "shared world shooter" {Destiny}. Industry snoop Superannutation noticed an Activision employee who works on {Destiny} had listed "monetization modeling" as part of his job description. Now, that's a fairly broad term, but it points in the direction of micro transactions.
