Metro Exodus gets a Gamescom trailer
"Terror has a new face."
Deep Silver and 4A Games has delivered us a treat to get Gamescom going, as we've just received a brand new trailer for Metro Exodus, coming from the Nvidia GeForce Gaming Celebration in Cologne and showing us more of the post-apocalyptic world we'll be venturing into next year.
"Thousands of kilometres from the ruins of Moscow, Artyom and his companions discover what seems like paradise - a lush, green valley, teeming with life. But if their years in the Metro have taught them one thing, it is this: the night brings terror," the description reads. Oh, and by the way, "here, terror has a new face."
You can actually play Metro Exodus in Cologne by heading to Deep Silver's booth in Hall 9, as well as the Xbox booth in Hall 8 and at the GeForce Gaming Celebration. Regarding the latter, there's some tasty technical information, as "powered by the new Nvidia Turing GPU architecture and the revolutionary Nvidia RTX platform, the new GPUs bring together real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading. Metro Exodus incorporates RTX ray tracing-enabled Global Illumination - delivering to games a stunning revolution rendered in real time."
The release date is set for February 22 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but if you pre-order now you can get plenty of incentives, especially with the Aurora edition.
Is this one of the games you were most looking forward to seeing at Gamescom?
