Mass Effect spin-off?

Multiplayer action in secret Bioware game

Kotaku are reporting on rumour that the new Bioware game set to be revealed at the Video Game Awards on December 11 is a {Mass Effect} multiplayer spin-off developed by Bioware in Montreal.

According to Kotaku's source the game is designed to appeal to the {Call of Duty} audience and will feature multiplayer with the powers and weapons found in the {Mass Effect} game. The {Mass Effect} spin-off title is also said to feature a single player campaign that doesn't feature Commander Shepard.

I guess we'll get all the details in a few weeks.
