Mass Effect: Andromeda trailer shows off the multiplayer
A wide variety of customisation options await.
Most of you Mass Effect fans out there are probably eager to play through Mass Effect: Andromeda's story, but you shouldn't forget that it has a multiplayer component as well, and Bioware is now finally ready to give us all the details about it.
The new trailer explains that the core concept is fairly similar to that of Mass Effect 3's multiplayer, as four players work together to survive waves of enemies, complete a series of objectives, and then extract from the battlefield.
Each of you will get to choose from different characters and species, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses. Then you choose between more than 40 unique weapons that can be modified in a multiple ways. Lastly, there's boosters, and these grant you special attributes or ammo types to take into battle.
In terms of where you'll be playing, there'll be five maps available at launch, but there are already plans for more in the future.
Will you be playing single-player exclusively, or test your skills in multiplayer as well?
