Mario and Dragon Quest crossover

Think less "sprawling RPG", more "Mario Party".

Itadaki Street is a Japanese Monopoly-style strategic board game series created by Square Enix back in the 90s, and has seen a number of crossover titles in its history, pitching recognisable Dragon Quest characters against Nintendo or Final Fantasy cast members.

Now the series is coming to Wii, with a mix of dice rolls and mini-games - an english translation and release (with the classy rebrand of 'Fortune Street') is reportedly in the works: for now you'll have to make do with this dramatic footage captured from this year's TGS. Enjoy.
