Magicka: Wizard Wars available on Steam

Paradox Interactive and Paradox North have moved to release an early access version of {Magicka: Wizard Wars} on Steam. While there is no firm word on the business model for the game the "starter packs" and "founder packs" hint at it being a free-to-play game at launch. But those who can't wait to get on the PvP arena battles, mixing and matching their spells these packs provide an opportunity.

The cheapest pack - the starter pack - is available for £8.99 and includes an In-game costume (Green Founder's Robe), an assortment of In-game weapons (Founder's Staff, Excelsior Line Staff, Vendetta Dagger), and Exclusive Forum Avatar (usable on Paradox Plaza forums - Green Founder) and a Forum Icon: Wizard Wars Founder.
