Madden NFL Arcade announced

Electronic Arts have announced {Madden NFL Arcade}, a title similar in concept to {3 on 3 NHL Arcade}, for Playstation Network (PS3) and Xbox Live Arcade (Xbox 360).

With EA abandoning the Street series of games it seems downloadable arcade style sports games is their new melody. {Madden NFL Arcade} will feature a simplified 5-on-5 version of football where touch downs are the only thing to count towards the score.

The game will be released in December with a price tag of $15 or 1200 Microsoft points. Check out the first screens below.
