Lost Planet 2 revealed

Last week Capcom announced that they would reveal a brand new title by releasing a trailer today on Xbox Live. The game was Lost Planet 2 - a sequel to the successful chilly action game released on Xbox 360 early in 2007, and later for both PC and Playstation 3.The director of the title is Keiji Oguru who also directed the first game and Jun Tekeuchi of Resident Evil fame is producing. The trailer revealed that there will be jungles and an interesting portable shield in the sequel.

Capcom has revealed no release date and so far we can only be sure that Lost Planet 2 is coming for Xbox 360. However, Capcom have previously hinted that their big titles will be multiplatform from now on, so even despite the manner in which Lost Planet 2 was announced - it is most likely also hitting Playstation 3 though it might be a case of a timed exclusivity.
