Latest Diablo III patch causes PS4 to stutter

It's been just under a week since Blizzard releleased the major update 2.4.0 for {Diablo III} (PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). One of the new features is the new area Greyhollow Island. But exploring it hasn't been what a lot of fans expected, more specifically for those playing on consoles.

Especially PlayStation 4 seems to have been hit badly with many threads on Battle.net (example one, two and three) and NeoGAF about stuttering, game crashes, input lag and other bugs in the menues. There are the odd report about the Xbox One version as well, but it doesn't seem to be as severe or maybe there just isn't as many players.

Hopefully, Blizzard will sort it out as soon as possible.
