Kingdom Under Fire 2 gets a release date
Plus you can see the long-awaited title in action via a new gameplay trailer.
The last time Kingdom Under Fire fans got a new game, the Xbox 360 was still doing its thing at the top of the console pile. That game, subtitled Circle of Doom, launched more than a decade ago, which means that those who connected with Blueside's series have had to endure a lengthy wait for a followup. The good news is that the wait is nearly over after publisher Gameforge confirmed that Kingdom Under Fire 2 would be landing on PC on November 14.
The long-awaited sequel is a mashup of MMO features and RTS strategising, and you can see it in action in the latest gameplay trailer, which dropped alongside the announcement of the game's release date. In it, you can see the game's hero focus, which allows players to take powerful characters into battle and engage in spectacular-looking combat scenes, not unlike something you might see in a Dynasty Warriors game.
Check it out below, along with a cinematic trailer that originally released a couple of weeks ago.
