Insects is an interactive experience for Xbox One X

See just how good graphics can look.

Are you old enough to remember the old T-rex demo for the original PlayStation, a demonstration om the console's capabilities that dropped jaws in the mid-nineties? Now Microsoft has decided to deliver something similar for the Xbox One X.

This is simply called Insects, and that's pretty much what it includes: insects and plants in lovely 4K graphics and HDR. You can download it for free to your console at this link, and it even has switches that let you turn features on and off to see how they affect the graphics (and spatial audio). The HDR part can be used with Xbox One S as well.

Insects was originally created for developers, but we're glad we got to see it as well. You can get a glimpse of Insects below, but we recommend you see it for yourself on Xbox One X if you have that opportunity.

Sort of makes someone would create a game looking like this, doesn't it?
