Guild Wars 2 launches winter update
Updates coming to all players.
Arenanet and NCsoft have launched the "Winter 2016 Update" for {Guild Wars 2} (completely free) and {Guild Wars 2}: Heart of Thorns (expansion), the first major update of the game since October.
One of the main new features (for Heart of Thorns players) is the ability to glide through central Tyria offering a new way to explore the region. For all players The Shatterer has been updated and revamped. The five-story dragon, champion of the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik, will offer new challenges and allow for new potential tactics. Other news include the ability to summon Tylbalt Leftpaw as a Mist Champion in PvP and there's new feature where you can sample a new brew every month at Queensdale's Eldvin Monastery (for fans of micro breweries, no doubt). There has also been a bunch of balancing tweaks made and you can also participate in the celebration of the Lunar New Year (until February 9).
If you want further intel on what's new head over to the official website. Or you can check out the teaser video below along with screens.
