We're into the first week of a new month. Perfect excuse then to freshen up your console theme, desktop wallpaper, tablet or mobile background with some of the best contemporary gaming artwork.

We've divided the gallery into 1024x768 wallpapers, perfect for those larger screens, and a 320x480 selection for mobile devices. Simply click on whatever artwork you like, then right-click as "Save As" for a copy to your device.

We'll be doing more of these in future, so if we're missing out on certain resolutions, let us know - next time we'll be incorporating spilt pieces for those with dual monitors.
