Eve Online expansion delayed
Planetary building will have to wait
{Eve Online} is about to get a new expansion, titled Tyrannis, but it seems like eager pilots will have to wait a little bit longer to get their grubby hands on the planets of the Eve-galaxy - the expansion has been moved back a week, and is now supposed to be released on May 26.
"In our regression testing, we have identified scalability issues with the Planetary Interaction feature, which led to code refactoring that then needed further testing before being launched to Tranquility", developer Torfi Frans Olafsson wrote in a dev blog. "Planetary Interaction is a unique feature in the sense that it is available to almost all players in the game providing opportunity for manufacturing for the masses, so ensuring that it runs smoothly on our cluster is of great importance to all."
For all you Eve noobs out there - "Tranquility" is the main {Eve Online} server.
