Escape Dead Island announced
Developed by Swedish Fatshark - makers of War of the Vikings and Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2.
Deep Silver have announced {Escape Dead Island} - a game designed to bridge the narrative gap between {Dead Island}, {Dead Island: Riptide} and the upcoming Yager developed {Dead Island 2}. {Escape Dead Island} is a "a third-person single-player survival mystery spin-off" that puts the player in the shoes of Cliff Calo, who sets out to unravel the mysterious events at Banoi.
Developer Fatshark are best known for making {Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2}, {War of the Roses}, {War of the Vikings}, but have also delved into more story-driven territory with {Krater}. They join fellow Swedish developer Stunlock Studios ({Dead Island} Epidemic) in fleshing out the {Dead Island} universe ahead of {Dead Island 2}.
{Escape Dead Island} will be released sometime around autumn this year on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Take a look at the announcement trailer below to see it in action.
