Doom Closed Alpha is about to begin
id Software and Bethesda share a new gameplay video.
With the imminent launch of Doom's multiplayer closed alpha test, Bethesda and id Software have released a new gameplay trailer with an introductive message from the executive producer Marty Stratton, where he basically thanks all the players for joining the closed alpha test as their feedback will be very important. This gameplay trailer shows off how the game works in its different versions (PC, Xbox One and PS4) and the differences between the various platforms, when Doom will be available next spring.

Doom's closed alpha will start on Friday, October 23 at 6:01 CET/05:01 BST until Monday, October 26 at 4:59 CET/3:59 BST. Participants will play Team Deathmatch mode 6Vs6 in Heatwave map. With an arsenal limited to 6 arms and two special items, players can choose a default gear or customise the equipment before jumping into the fray in this map.
