Dirt Showdown is the fourth release in Codemasters' rally series, but it should not be seen as a direct continuation of the previous three titles. The "real" Dirt 4 is lurking in the future, while Showdown focuses exclusively on those aspects of Dirt which were previously added to supplement the more traditional rally experience. So you can expect more wub-wub, alternative rock, big events and lots of close encounters with oncoming traffic.
